Javier Luxor Biography

Born in Madrid in 1974, he discovered magic at an early age and received training from the hands of nationally renowned magicians in different modalities. These included close up magic and stage magic. In 1996 Javier Luxor felt the need to branch out on his own into mentalism and proceeded to carve his own niche into the industry.

His passion for this art, led him to join various international magical societies like the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and the International Magicians Society (IMS). He also belongs to national associations such as professional magicians Club (CIP) and Madrid’s Circle magicians (CIMAPS) where contact with other professionals began to define his characteristic style.

In 2001, he pursued a Master in Business Administration (MBA). This, coupled with his studies in Engineering (UPM) and Voice Coaching (UCJC), and broad business experience, allowed him to become an Infotainer (corporate presenter).He is very active and is in demand by both national and international companies. All this lead him in 2007 to found a company specializing in customized  events tailored to the needs of its customers magic. In his own words:

He annually participates in Mindvention, which is a conference specifically for mentalists held in the city of Las Vegas (USA). Other national conferences he regularly attends are National Magic Congress and World Congress of Magic FISM.

Continuous training in the field of mentalism and his extensive experience led him to win two National Awards for Mentalism 2008 (National Magic Convention in Valencia) and 2011 (National Magic Convention in Madrid)

His immersion in the world of the mind led him to training in the field of hypnosis and in 2010 he obtained a certificate in stage hypnotism at the Stage Hypnosis Center of Arizona (USA).

For years he has performed shows in front of thrilled audiences in Madrid. Of all his shows, the most quintessential is "The Quantum Sphere" in which you can experience the full range of his talent. Previous works included "Neuromagica" and "Hemispherios" which have been equally successful.

His upcoming show, "Javier Luxor, The Mentalist" promises to offer new sights and thrills for all to enjoy.
